Order fulfilment is the process of receiving a customer’s order information and delivering their order. At RedSky Europe, we offer a full suite of order fulfilment services to international online retailers. Platform Integrations
In order to effectively streamline our order fulfilment services, we have developed a robust integration infrastructure to support the multichannel processes in place in our Ecommerce warehouse. This starts with a number of advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software (IMS) that are used to monitor and control all operations within the distribution centre.
The role of our IMS is to track inventory arriving at the Ecommerce Distribution Centre until the time of shipment. It monitors receipt and storage of all incoming inventory, choosing suitable order shipment methods, and keeping on top of replenishment when inventory is low. Our cloud-based WMS is used to receive all incoming orders. This links directly with virtual carts and the majority of third-party online selling platforms. Our systems integrate with all major Ecommerce platforms worldwide.
Inventory Storage
All inventory shipments received directly into our Ecommerce warehouse are checked and logged onto the RedSky Europe WMS. If any retailer has pre-storing services that are required, they are then performed prior to storage. All products are checked in and put on shelves (primary location) ready to service consumer orders or put into storage (reserve location) as secondary backup stock
Light Assembly
For many retailer products with multiple parts or pieces, it can be a time-consuming process to assemble into consumer-suitable and friendly kits. To save our online retailers time and money, we offer a light assembly service from our Ecommerce warehouse
Pick & Pack
Picking, packing, and shipping the correct products quickly is the key to fast shipping.
Pickers fetch the items for orders and bring them to the packing stations where they are packaged in a durable box or padded envelope with the necessary dunnage, then sealed with a shipping label. The package is then picked up by the shipping carrier.
Kitting
Kitting involves the assembly of products together in a group in advance of the customer order coming into the warehouse. It involves packaging items that arrive as separate pieces into one single grouping prior to it being ordered by customers. The aim is to expedite the fulfilment process.
Packaging
Another order fulfilment service we offer at RedSky Europe is packaging. Whether an online retailer wants to choose bespoke packaging or generic, we ensure the packaging used is suitable for storage, is durable, and will minimise damage once the order has left the production line in our Ecommerce warehouse.
Shipping
The final stage of order fulfilment is delivery. At RedSky Europe, we guarantee the fastest shipping options available. We partner with a wide variety of courier partners such as An Post, GLS, DHL, DPD, and FedEx. Whichever your choice of partner, we can accommodate from our warehouse.
Returns
We also offer a comprehensive returns service. We receive all customer returns to our warehouse in Ireland.
Our team works with each brand to manage their returns in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible. We inspect, repack, re-barcode, and re-stock any product that is returned. With prior agreement, we can dispose of any products deemed unfit for resale.
